Why Item Upgrade Is Relevant 2024
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the power of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations that are applied.
The racial Shield elite Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item upgrader, such as armor, weapon, or ring. The item is swapped for a different one similar item and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't preserve the original level of the item and any wasted resources won't get compensated.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item for example, increasing its damage.
Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by weapons and melee attacks while spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To produce them, you need a higher-quality token for rerolling. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next Success is being rerolled. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display a full description and icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.
In the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of chosen Franchise Cards. This affects which blueprints the restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. They can also be purchased by players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item's level, and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements are fulfilled, the player may select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not impact the longevity of the item. This makes it an excellent way for players to get a significant advantage in combat without straining their accounts. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are many ways to acquire these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can also take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item level upgrade will gain an upgrade to a higher level. This process continues until the item is at its highest level.
Items with upgraded base stats will display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items, as well as a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add items to be upgraded. On the right, a preview shows what the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after a player has sufficient materials will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum level, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. When an item upgrader kit reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to the track will be offered at a discount.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to give an added bonus or effect when the equipment is being used. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs that can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Upgrades to items enable players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the kind of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The upgrade items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources within the game, including through crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been added to an object it is not able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the item's statistics.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance to block. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get the perfect roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and can be worth up to 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component that goes into the item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item upgrades.
The game will place an Best item upgrader in your inventory after you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
