Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements applied.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power increases the damage done by weapons and melee attacks while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher-quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

Certain items benefit from upgrading less because of their improved stats and more because it allows players to get the most value out of a perfect roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and can be worth up to 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.

The game will highlight the requirements when you select the upgrade component that goes into the item. These include the item type (either Weapon or Armor) the tier of that item, the upgrade item Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

The game will add an item in your inventory when you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how far to getting the upgrade completed. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
