iRobot suggests that you clean the area in which the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes putting away any toys or other clutter it might come across. It's also a good idea to keep the bin and filter clean so they do not become blocked by dirt. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is empty or the battery is not fully charged, it returns to the docking station and automatically empties the dirt into the station's dust bin. The i7+ is more efficient and more maneuverable in our tests compared to the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. Its biggest advantage over the eufy, though, is its self-emptying dustbin, which removes a major source of maintenance and reduces recurring costs.

We were also awestruck by the i7+'s integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services that we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning routines and move around the room and sweep the area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. When connected we were able to give the i7+ voice commands like "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options for managing the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.

The V10 is powered with a 7-cell energy-dense Lithium-ion battery, which produces energy that lasts for 60 minutes. Its smart navigation system uses iAdapt technology to stay clear of obstacles and navigate your home. However, it isn't equipped with the mapping capabilities of more advanced models, such as our top robot vacuum picks, the i3+EVO and J7+ Series. It can get stuck on phone cords or furniture and is often unable to supply power before returning to its original location.

The Xiaomi Mi robot is superior in many ways over the Roomba 694 because it has fewer parts that require regular cleaning, is equipped with an allergen-trapping HEPA filtering system, has a lower cost of recurring costs, has more advanced automation abilities and is better able to maneuver its own. It also has a larger dustbin and is charged faster.

The eufy RoboVac X8 is superior to the Roomba 694 in most purposes, because it has a longer battery life, has the ability to alter its suction power mode manually and has physical boundary strips, and is controlled by your smartphone's voice assistant.
