Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations applied.

The elite racial Shield Razortail, for example, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you buy a new item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. The item is replaced by another Best item Upgrade of the same type, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. They don't preserve the original item's level and any money wasted aren't rewarded.

The survivors can get reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade their gear players first need to find the item upgrades they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. This will show a list of the item's levels and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.

After deciding what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets players increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will gain an upgrade to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an item is attained.

Items with upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be added to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component also requires an amount of items and a minimum level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add items to be upgraded. Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get a perfect roll.
