3. Roomba X40 from iRobot
This mop and vacuum combination is sleek and has a circular look that looks more like the regular Roomba model than the bulky models of the competitors. It's among our most attractive looking robot vacuums. The newest model from iRobot is its most advanced model, with features that are cutting-edge like Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology and future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can autonomously wash mop pads).
It's also the only robotic vacuum/mop to score a perfect 10 out of 10 in our testing. This is thanks to the combination of high-tech sensors including a structured lighting system, a camera and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot we tested that can completely autonomously refill and empty its base station, and it has an its own self-cleaning mop pads.
Like other iRobot models like the X40 is user-friendly, with a simple mobile app interface and integration with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit as well as Google Assistant. The only drawback is that it's an eerily noisy device that could be an issue if you use it in the morning prior to work, or at night when you try to sleep.
It's also quite expensive however, not as much as the Ecovacs S8 MaxV Ultra or Roborock S8 Omni, which are both equally capable and better looking. If you're willing some more volume and some additional cost it's a powerful two-in-one that will delight most.
iRobot L20 Ultra

It can be used to create cleaning schedules, or to organize a spot-clean. It can also be used to it to prioritize the most soiled areas for greater efficiency. The app comes with a variety of features, including seasonal suggestions, customized mapping, and advanced cleaning settings.
Its shape is more rectangular than most other robot vacuums, meaning it is able to reach corners and underneath furniture better. It also has a strong suction of 8,000 Pascal suction and combs that are intelligent for hair of pets. It also has the ability to set up a spot cleaning that intensely cleans a localized area.
The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision HD is a sleeker, cheaper alternative to iRobot Roomba. It's more appealing, Dolce & Gabbana-esque design and its twin cameras resemble cute eyes. It does a great job vacuuming, but it's more likely to be stuck on low thresholds. It is also louder than other top robot vacuums that we have tested. It also has a less user-friendly app and a tiny base station that can't be used as a bin for emptying.
