Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mop are getting more powerful. They pass our cleaning tests, and are able to handle different floors. Choose models that allow you to choose between multiple types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.

Many of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Find an app that allows you to save maps, schedules and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It uses lidar for navigation and creates maps of floors and rooms.

When I tried the S1, it was able to identify the downstairs area, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, as well as carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without hitting them, and even managed to cross raised room thresholds with no issue, though it occasionally was unable to navigate down the stairs in one pass. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving effortlessly on its flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rug.

The docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated water prior to each mopping session. The dock provides an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 cleaning sessions, but this will differ based on how often you use the mop.

The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to wash out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming blocked. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to keep them from becoming clogged with dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs all-in-one robot vacuum and mop is a powerful solution for your cleaning requirements. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction and comes with numerous unique features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that avoids obstructions and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than just drag a pad across a surface. The mops can be dried and cleaned at the base station when needed.

This robot has an easy-to-use interface that guides you through the process. It includes a hand vacuum that recharges for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot vacuum cleaners reviews isn't able to reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled as needed. It also comes with a variety of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, with strong suction that easily removes all kinds of debris, including the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also decent, but it could get stuck on small area mats and rugs in my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also excellent with a pair of spinning mops which are able to lift and scrub floors instead of simply moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when needed. The mops are also filled at the top of the station when they are required.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship model of robot mop and vacuum mop cleaner robot comes with more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the best mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush ensure an efficient, customized clean.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and small particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently while avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping capability of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush which automatically swings out in order to reach hard-to-reach areas, and a mop pad that extends along baseboards.

Its navigation is intelligent, navigating small spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can move from one room to another without changing direction it is a useful feature for homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than some competitors, however, and tends to leave a large distance around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

The interface of the app is easy to use and well-organized. It should be simple to use by both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule robotic cleaner and mop manage cleaning tasks. You can also alter suction power, mop settings, and look up 3-D and 2-D maps. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll require a stable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

A robot vacuum does a great job of removing debris and dirt, but it can't always reach every last particle of dust. It's important to vacuum frequently, every week. This is particularly important for dust that collects in corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mop, is made to accomplish this. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your cleaning routine.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's more expensive S-series models. It includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but cuts down on price by eliminating mopping and using a lower-cost plastic body.

The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping robots we've seen in this price range, even though it's not equipped to wipe your floor. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart application that lets you schedule cleaning and choose the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling system and washing system that is hands-free.

Its mops are also impressive with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dirt, dust and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested did not show problems with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it did not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't surprising because it doesn't contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we've tested. It also has a unique method to map your home. This really helps it get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums can't reach. It also is able to collect more dust in a larger bin, so you don't need to empty it as often. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters which further reduces the cost of using the device. The robot can also recognize carpets and increase suction if required. You can also mark off areas you would like to be able to keep from using the app.
