The hinged lid opens to reveal a 350ml trash bin and 200ml tank of water. The water tank is automatically filled and the bin fills up automatically.
The only downside I found with this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't movable. It is possible to replace the mopping cloth when required, but it's a challenge to take the mount off to wash it manually. I've observed that any carpet that the robot vacuums best touches will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mounts, which could cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a number clever features, including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa.
