A woman who ditched the corporate world to become a full-time astrologist now lets the moon govern her life instead of an alarm clock.
Katherine Gillies, 37, who is known as , has been practising astrology as a hobby for 15 years, but it's only more recently that she has turned it into a professional career.
The astrologist admits she went from 'not really' believing in astrology to understanding the concept and how it can be used as a life tool.
Katherine now even schedules her week in accordance with its guidance, refusing to work on Mondays because it is 'ruled by the moon'.

Katherine, who lives in Newcastle with her partner, admits she has had a 'pretty winding' experience in life as she didn't know what she wanted to do after studying at Sydney University.
After spending time travelling, she worked in the fashion industry in New York with big names like Vogue before deciding to study graduate law and work in the corporate sector.

When 'corporate life kicked in', she realised it was not for her and took a energy healing diploma on the side.
After working as a digital content manager, she decided to quit her 9 to 5 and become a full-time astrologist.
