1. Roomba iRobot i3+ from iRobot EVO
The i3+ EVO is identical to its sibling i3 EVO. They differ only in that the i3+ comes with self-emptying capabilities. The i3+ is a good option for those looking for a an entirely automated, hands-free cleaning experience but are willing to manually empty the dust bin once it gets full.
Both robots do well picking up surface debris off hard floors and carpets, and they are very good in maneuvering around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software makes smart maps of your home that aid the i3+ EVO navigate and clean in a manner that maximizes efficiency. However unlike the i7+ or other top-rated robots we evaluated, the i3+ doesn't have a feature for avoiding obstacles which means it can get stuck on things such as socks or power cords and it may have trouble navigating across surface transitions like from hardwood to carpet.
iRobot recommends clearing areas that the i3+ EVO will vacuum before you use it, which includes clearing out any toys or clutter it may come across. Also, keep the dustbin and filters clear to avoid becoming clogged. When the i3+'s internal bin is filled or the battery is depleted it goes back to its docking station and automatically empties its debris into the station's dust bin, and then continues cleaning the area where it left off. The i3+ EVO's battery lasts for approximately an hour and a half of continuous use. It takes around three hours to fully recharge.
2. iRobot Roomba i7+
The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the most powerful model in iRobot's flagship line and is equipped with the most recent features. It's self-charging, self-navigating, and the most important feature of all -- it comes with self-emptying bins that eliminate one of the primary sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.
The Roomba i7+ can remember up to 10 floor plans and their names using Imprint Smart Mapping, an application that allows it to identify rooms to clean them more efficiently. It also integrates with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning jobs and control your robot using voice or through the app.
In our testing the i7+ performed more agile and faster than our top choice which was the eufy RoboVac G30, and it took large pieces of pet hair from all surface types including carpeting. Its greatest advantage over the Eufy is the self-emptying bin which eliminates the main sources of maintenance and lowers the cost of recurring maintenance.
We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot to begin, stop, or pause cleaning sessions, as well as to move around the room, and even vacuum a specific area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. When connected to these services, we were able communicate with the i7+ using voice commands like "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options for managing the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.

The main drawback of the V10 is its short run time. Its marketing claims that it has up to 60 minutes of run time are not true as CR's tests show. This is a standard battery-powered cordless vacuum's running time. This is still enough to clean most of a typical-sized home however, it's not enough to clean every area (though the second time around usually will suffice). That's not to say this model doesn't have its benefits It's lighter and more maneuverable than older cordless Dysons and its vacuuming performance is significantly better on low-pile carpet.
4. iRobot Roomba 694
The 694 is a basic robotic vacuum cleaner sale vacuum that's an excellent choice for those who don't have lots of money to spend on an expensive robot.
